HomeMy WebLinkAboutNovember 17, 1971 NOVEMBER 17, 1971 TO: FROM: SUBJECT: GROW TOWNSHIP BOARD OF SUPERVISORS GROW TOWNSHIP PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION VARIANCE APPLICATION OF RALPH SOLEY GENTLEMEN: In accordance with the prov~s~ons of the Township of Grow Ordinance No.8, Zoning Regulations, paragraph 5.04, Variances and Appeals, subparagraph 2, the Zoning and Planning Commission herewith submits for your consideration a report of Commission findings regarding the aforementioned variance application. 1. The applicant, Mr. Ralph Soley, appeared before the Commission on September 28, 1971. Soley stated that Tract A had been sold, that a deed had been drawn up. 2. Commission notes that the County half section map, dated January 1971, shows Tracts A and B as one parcel, #6750, with a width of approximately 230 feet, with no noted change to date. 3. Subject parcel is located within the R-2 Zoning District which requires a minimum lot width of 165 feet. 4. Commission notes that to grant the variance would create two substandard residential lots. 5. Objection to granting the variance was heard from Richard Wandersee, abutting property owner. 6. The Zoning and Planning Commission hereby recommends to the Grow Township Board of Supervisors that the variance be denied. Norm Stout, Chairman, Zoning and Planning Commission ss/
