HomeMy WebLinkAboutSeptember 14, 1971 September 14, 1971 TO: Grow Township Board of Supervisors FROM: Grow Township Zoning and Planning Commission SUBJECT: Rezoning application of Mr Arthur Stenquist Gentlemen: In accordance with the provisions of the Township of Grow Ordinance No.8, Zoning Regulations, paragraph 5.02, Rezonings, subparagraph (D), the Zoning and Planning Commission of the Township of Grow, Anoka County Minnesota, herewith submits for your consideration a report of Commission findings regarding the aforementioned rezoning application. 1. The applicant, II,T Arthur Stenquist, appeared before the Comnission at a public hearing held september 7, 1971 in accordance with Ordinance paragraph 5.02(C). 2. Applicant seeks to rezone approximately 80 acres from the R-l Zoning District to the R-2 or R-3 Zoning District. 3. Applicant stated that the purpose of his rezoning request is to enable him to sell one acre lots in which case the Commission notes that the R-2 Zoning District classification would be appropriate. 4. Com~ission recom~ends to the Grow Township Board of Super- visors to rezone all of the SU%- of the N'e'It of Section 18, T32R24 and all of the rJ1:rl- of the Sl:l%- of Section 18, T32R24 except the South 114$.0 feet of the West 200.0 feet of the East 932.0 feet thereof from the R-I Zoning District to the R-2 Zoning District with the stipulations that, [lJ Five (5) percentage of the area as described above be dedicated for public pnrk purposes with the location of said park area meeting vlith the approval of the Grow Township Board of Supervisors, [2J the roads be constructed to meet the requirements of the Grow Township Engineers, i.e., Tri-Stnte Engineering and [3J that the plat be a recorded plat.
