The Zoning and Planning Commission met Tuesday, Hay 18,1971
at the Crooked Lake School. Members present were Holasek,
Jones, Langseth and Stout. Harland P. Nelson submitted a variance
for a single family residence, described as lot 4,
The members present voted unanimously in favor.

Next was the variance for Lester L. Corrow to build a
garage. He was asking for 10 feet. The members present voted
in favor, and suggested he put up a fireproof wall on the side
by his property line.
Third was a variance submitted by Joseph T. Faubert.
His lot is 304' and would like to build a house on half of it
and have 144' frontage. His house is set 80 to 85' back on the
property and this house would be further up. Langseth made a mot-
ion to accept the variance, and Jones seconded. It was
unanimous.
Don Lennox wants to build a house on lot 27, in
The ~ot had been bfought on a contract for deed and the party
let the lot go back because of a question on an easement for the
gas line. The takes have been paid by Mr. Stenquist. There are
no houses built on lots 13,27, 50, 51, 52, or 53. Chairman Stout
said he should file for a variance.
~IT. McPherson spoke briefly with Chairman Stout and asked hi m
tohold off on the variance for Elden Hall. They are waiting for
a soil test to see if the soil is capable of supporting a sewer
system without polluting the Illite.
The Zoning and Planning Commission will investigate the
possibility of rezoning an 18 to 20 acre parcel of landin the
area by Harland Nelson property.
Discussion was held on !1r. Burkhardt's property. He would
not need to file a variance. All they would do is condemn the
old house and dispose of the sewer s~stelli,
K~~~~X~rEM~MXXM~x~%ttxn~Ns~, as it lS in a low area and a build-
ing permit could be granted to build on the high ground.
Hr. Holasek made a motion to adjourn at 9:20P.M. and Hr. Jones'
seconded.
