It was decided that these forms would be retyped and run off with possible additions or corrections. Sylvia Britton handed out copies of a revised questionnaire, which had been written up by Dean Oslund. Because the meeting was continued for purposes of setting up a budget, the discussion began. Vice-Chairman Griswold stated that our figures were to be turned in to the Board of Supervisors on Saturday, March 3, per Mr. Rither's instructions during the morning of March l. Griswold then stated that the budget for 1972 was in the red by $70.24. There was some discussion regarding the fact that since the Board of Supervisors did not recognize a Park/ Recreation Advisory Board until February l2, 1973, should this minus figure be our responsibility or should it not. There were also some questions as to the figures on the expenditure sheet, such as which park was restaked, and what explanation is there for cleaning and park work. The figure seemed very high for what had been accomplished. ~ The following items were decided upon for the budget for 1973: Land Acquisition - $4,000 Two tot lots - to include the following: Swing set, slide, sand box, whirl, two benches, sand, forms for cement edges, cement, fencing if necessary (dimensions lOO' x lOO') - $3,000 \ ./ \ \ J / " '---./ MINUTES - MARCH 1, 1973 Page 2 Budget (continued) Seven general skating rinks and one regulation hockey rink - Hockey rink to be built on Crooked Lake School property with permission from school board.
