Attending -,;ere: Chairman Miles, Commission members Bush, Jack,
Jaworski, Johnson, Rither and Vander Laan.
Meeting was called to order by Chairman Miles at 7:50 p.m.
Chairman Miles stated that the meeting had been called in order
to review the application by Ray Cook for a house moving permit
for a structure to be brought from the Anoka State Hospital
~rounds to Tulip Street in Grow Township. The discussion had
been tabled at the Regular Meeting of May 28, 1974 of the Plan-
ning and Zoning Commission.
Ray Cook presented a Permit and Certificate of Occupancy stating
the condition of the house and the estimated value, which had
been issued by the Building Inspector with the specification that
the building will be increased to 960 sq.ft. on the first floor.
Miles stateQ he had talked to Wally Arntzen who inspected the
house and who felt the house is very satisfactory and will not
crea.te problems for the Township. rUles continued that all the
remaining pertinent information concerning the moving of the house
will be supplied to the Building Inspector on the day of the move
by the house moving corporation. Jack pointed out that according
to Ordinance #4, Sec. 6, pp J that all remodeling shall be complet-
ed within ninety days. Applicant stated that the Building Inspect-
or had the sketch plans for a proposed addition, a family room
measuring 21 x 24 feet. Cook presented pictures of the house for
examination by the Commission and .said he had paid the $75.00 fee.
He stated that the Building Inspector had on file the Tax Certifi-
cate and Certificate of Ownership. Jaworski obtained from the
office the Application for Building a Sewer System and presented
it to the Commission for their inspection. Commission noted that
if applicant did not have the addition completed within ninety days
he would be in violation of Ordinance #4 and could be subject to a
fine of 3100.00 or ninety days in jail. Cook indicated he was
a~are of this. Miles indicated he had talked with Arntzen on June
4, 1974 who felt that the applicant had complied with all provisions
of Ordinance #4. Rither refered to Ordinance #8, Sec. 4.11, Re-
located Structures, and indicated that based on the photographs
that he felt the structure would not be incompatible with the homes
already in the area. Johnson moved that the Planning and Zoning
Commission recommend to the Town Board of Supervisors to grant a
permit for the moving of a house to Ray Cook with the following
requirements: (1) He submit to the Tov.'11 Board a drauing shovling
the addition to the house and the placement of the house on the
lot, and (2) he complete proposed addition within 90 days as
required in Ordinance 14, Sec. 6, pp J, and that the completed
state of the house shall be defined by the issuance of the
Certificate of Occupancy by the Building Inspector. Jaworski
seconded the motion. It was added that the Commission has not
found that the structure will be incompatible with the other dev-
elopment in the area and the structure does, based on the report
