Attendin[,in addition to Hr. Lapham, were members Heidelbereer and Rzeszutek. Mrs. Britton came at 9:00. Guests were Rosemary Thompson (Phone - 755-5960), K8thy Pahl, Carol Lilygren, Joe Royer (Phone - 755-5783), and Tom Cherney fro:n Red Oak::!; l!Ir. and Nr::!. LeRoy ':linner and Ron 2mi th. Minutes fron the previous meeting were read and approved as mailed. Red Oaks Park Thp residents from Red Oaks wanted information on developinlj a plaYEround in their area. They were advised that ~1,500.00 had been allotted to then for park development. The area needs fill and they were advised to get an estimate fro~ Burt Kraabpl and others on the cost of the fill required. The Parks and Recreation Uommis::!ion and the City Engineer will be making a Park Tour on Tuesday, July 15, so will Bee what else is needed for developing the playground. The residents were advised to gather interested neighbors, etc. and check back with the Parks and Recreation Commission. :_) Ogema Acres - Ron Hmith The Commission reviewed Mr. Smith's Preliminary Plat. Mr. Smith has complied with our previous request for more Park land. Motion by Rzeszutek, seconded by Heidelberger, that the Parks and Recreation Commission reconmend this plat to the Planning and ZoninE Commission as shown with the following conditions: 1) Er. Smith pay 3100.00 in lieu of required park acreage. 2) The city will restore and maintain the Cemetery as a Historical site. Eotion carried unanimously. Hu~hs' Industrial Park - hotion by Rzpszutek, seconded by Heidelberger, that we accept money, based on aS2essed market value of land, in lieu of park land. Motion carried unanimously.
