MINUTES
A Special Meeting of the Andover Planning and Zoning Commission was called to
order at 7:35 P.M. by Chairperson d'Arcy Bosel1 on Tuesday, February 19, 1980 h,
at the Andover City Hall, 1685 Crosstown Blvd. N.W., Anoka, Minnesota. ~

Commissioners Present:
George Lobb, Larry Retzlaff
Commissioners Absent:
Walter Dick, Byron Copley, Ralph Kishel
Chairperson Bose1l said the meeting had been scheduled as a work session to
determine what logical rezonings should be placed on the properties in the Urban
Service Area which are now zoned R-l.
It was suggested that the majority of the Urban Service Area now zoned R-l be
rezoned to R-4 with the exception of several parcels which should be rezoned as
PUD, (Planned Unit Development). These PUD areas will act as buffers between the
residential areas and the industrial and commercial areas. Several other parcels
should be rezoned as agricultural areas.
Attached is a copy of a map showing a first draft of the suggested rezonings.
This item will be continued to February 28, 1980.
MOTION by Lobb, seconded by Retzlaff to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried
unanimously. The meeting was adjourned at 9:30 P.M.
