WATERING AT CITY HALL
Discussion: Frank Stone checked on the cost of rental of trencher. The
cost is $440/week, however, it would only be used on weekends when people
are available. He will check on weekend rental. He also talked to Toro
and they suggested that with a rookie crew, the system should not be pulled.
It should all be trenched. Toro, as part of their bid, will supply 20 hours
of time from one of their people. Chairman Kinkade suggested that he find
out what the hourly rate would be from Toro in case they would need
supervision/advice beyond the 20 hours. July 19th was set for the first
work date for the watering system installation. A letter will be sent to
Gary West to notify the Athletic Association of the first work date.
They will meet at the Public Works Building at 8:00 a.m. on July 19, 1986
for the first session.
