. PARK & RECREATION COMMISSION MEETING - August 28, 1986 - MINUTES
The regularly scheduled Andover Park & Recreation Commission meeting was called
to order by Stuart Kinkade at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, August 28, 1986 at the
Andover City Hall, 1685 Crosstown Boulevard N.W., Andover, Minnesota.

Approval of Minutes
MOTION by Sabel, seconded by Kinkade to approve the July 31, 1986 minutes.
Motion carried unanimously.
1987 Park Budget
The park commission went over the budget for next year to firm their plans.
The budget amount is about a ten percent increase over last years. A memo
will be sent to the mayor and council with the 1987 budget.
New Board Member
Joan Harmes was selected as a new member for the Andover Park Board. She will
be contacted as to her start date.
Report from the Park Chairman
Chairman Kinkade attended the city council meeting. A new plat will be coming
to the park commission. The new plat is Indian Meadows-2nd addition. The city
has an agreement with the developer, New Generation, for a forty acre park
dedication. The park board would like the total dedication at one time, rather
than in phases.
Kelsey-Round Lake was discussed. Frank Stone said he
that may furnish chips for the trails at Round Lake.

Report from the Public Works Supervisor
Frank Stone said he had talked to Mr. Audette about submitting a bill for
the reimbursement of gas for his tractor they used at Forest Meadows. Also
Forest Meadows is ready for seeding.
The Sprinkler System at city hall is 95% complete.
Meeting adjourned at 8:30 p.m.
