I have lived in Andover since 1992. In that time I have visited virtually every park and trail in the City with my 3 children. In the 16 years I have lived in Andover I have seen the city change from a small town to a mid sized city. Past planning and zoning commissions and City councils have done a good job of promoting orderly growth. I believe it's my turn to give something back to the city and continue the tradition of smart well planned growth in Andover. Describe your education/experience, which qualifies you to serve on the commission I have dealt with city ordinances that affect the platting process and understand how outside agencies such as The DNR, Corp of Engineers, or the County may affect setbacks in the city. I have seen the effects of haphazard developments and believe I can look in an objectionable way at zoning issues and find solutions without getting involved in Arbitrary or capricious recommendation$, or takings claims against the city 0 Describe your Professional, civic or community activities, which may be relevant to this commission: I served on the Andover open space ballot initiative in the summer of 2006. 0 0 C I T Y o F NDOVE 1685 CROSSTOWN BOULEVARD N.W. . I have been an Andover resident since 1992, and have been actively involved in the community. In my time residing in this fine community; I have been involved in the Andover Baseball Association, where I have been coaching for the past 7 years. We have also been very much involved in both Andover Football and Basketball. In my time spent with these volunteered activities, I have met a vast amount of people who I have been close to and become great friends with. Obviously, our children are all of the same age bracket, and we all agree on one topic: "Better Outside than Inside". Meaning, in this age of Computers and Video Games, I feel the need to get our youth off the couch, and back out in to the many parks al!d activities that our fine community has to offer them. 0 Please accept my Resume as consideration for this important position. ~ ~ (' ~ .
