Vollevball Clubs Update - Mr. Sutherland updated the Commission on the situation
with NorthStar. The club has folded and they are in default on their invoices. Mr.
Dickinson has received the group's information and is working to find a resolution. With
NorthStar out for next season a group that was involved with NorthStar is starting up a
new club called Vantage Sports Performance. All the winter schedules are currently
being reviewed and some small changes are expected. The ACC is reviewing its
payment collection policy.
2009 Budaet Review- The ACC Advisory Commission had a chance to review the
2009 budget. Mr. Brezinka provided some information on the levy and some changes
that would be made now that the YMCA will be making their lease payments. A couple
areas that were discussed in detail were advertising and vending options. Staff is going
to work on some ideas to help generate more revenues in these areas. Another item
that was discussed was the 2009 budget number for natural gas. With some of the early
reports showing as much as a 50% increase in natural gas costs the commission
suggested an increase in the budget number. After reviewing with finance the natural
gas number will be increased an additional $60,000. A motion was made by Ted Butler,
a second by Mike Quigley to approve the 2009 budget. The motion passed
unanimously.
Staff Update - The YMCA's new director Mr. Greg Voss introduced himself to the ACC
Commission. The ACC Advisory Commission welcomes Greg to the Andover YMCA
Community Center.

that can be distributed at a future meeting.
