Inadequate Wells/
Hookup Funding 5
BY: James E. Schrantz
FOR
The city Council is requested to consider a possible hardship on a
well.
The dewatering for the sanitary sewer truck on Crosstown Blvd
dried up the 17 ft. deep well at 14352 Crosstown Blvd, owned by
Rick Hedstrom (the house that faces Crosstown Blvd next to Quinn
Street in Woodridge Acres). Of course, the water has not come
back, and besides the well is not an allowable well under
Andover's ordinance.
Mr. Hedstrom's problem as he says, the connection to the City is
unexpected and he cannot afford to connect up to the water at this
time. He rents out the house. He has asked if the City could
hook him up to the water and assess him. The house,is presently
getting water from the neighbors via a hose.
What we do here may set a precedence; therefore, I want to discuss
it and not use the Erickson plan.

The City Council is requested to hire Mava Mikkonen
that has been taking the Park Board minutes.
The work load for Vicki Volk has been growing and growing so as a
effort to releave the over load, we are proposing to hire Mava
Mikkonen who does a excellent job on the Park Board Minutes.
The cost for Mava to do the Park Board minutes has costed less
then for a fulltime staff to do them.
We pay Mava $8.75/per hour plus mileage.
