We understand, you like all fire departments, operate under very tight budgetary constraints and I think you will note that we have attempted to provide a most economical quote below. I have summarized below the normal list pricing on the basic garments you have requested and the custom optioning you have specified: PANTS Model 2210 Black Goretex Moisture Barrier 3" Cuff Trim Bellows Pockets Full Length Velcro Flap Reinforced Coated Nomex Sling On Bellows Pkts. Coated Nomex Flaps On Bellows Pkts. I feel it is also only appropriate to point out that if the garments do not fit (since you provided the sizing) it would be your responsibility to bear the cost of any alterations necessary to make the garments fit (we, of course, are responsible for insuring the garments measure as ordered; you would be responsible only for measuring mistakes). In the event you require suspenders, your cost on same would be $9.00. We understand that the Janesville product line is our main competitor. I am sure after carefully comparing pricing and the relative quality levels of both garments, all parties concerned would agree that Morning Pride represents a far better quality and cost effective choice. Morning Pride is noted for exceptionally high quality levels, the most stringent of exacting construction standards, etc. I am including with this quote a copy of a comparison letter that details the many points where Morning Pride construction features exceed those provided by the Janesville product line. ~ j i I 1 t I t Before closing I would like to congratulate you for a well developed spec that reflects much thought and investigation into current, state of the art protective clothing technology. Myself or any other manufacturer would have to admire a department that recognizes the importance of reinforcing and adding an additional thermally insulating layers at high compression points (i.e. knees, etc.). Your choice of coated Nomex will also serve your department well as without question it is one of the strongest, most long wearing, most insulative materials ever developed. I sincerely hope we are the successful bidder as we very much appreciate the opportunity to serve a customer that places such care and consideration to inspect development as you obviously have.
