DATE: January 11,2007 INTRODUCTION The Council will interview the following residents for the various commissions that have vacancies. The Park and Recreation Commission has three openings to fill. Two vacancies exist on the Planning Commission. Attached is information from the residents who have submitted applications. Tracy Chipman could not attend the interviews because of previous commitments. If the Council would like to interview her, they could convene 15 minutes before the regular Council meeting on January 16,2007 to interview her. Please inform staff if that is desired and we will make the arrangements to have her come in for an interview. ACTION REQUESTED Staff requests the Council interview these residents and choose who they would like to appoint and , . designate a Chairman and Vice Chairman of each commission. Lastly, the Council should consider making choices of alternates for each commission in the event that there are vacancies that occur during the coming year.
