The city of Andover Charter Commission will meet at the Andover
city Hall, 1685 Crosstown Boulevard N.W., Andover, MN at 7:30
p.m., Thursday, October 27, 1988.

A meeting of the Andover Charter Commission was cal led to order by
Chairman Jerry Windschitl at 7:30 p.m.. Thursday. October 27. 1988. at
the Andover City Hall. 1685 Crosstown Boulevard NW. Andover,
Minnesota.
CommIssioners present: Bosell. Knight (arrived at 7:32). Sabel.
Veiman
Commissioners absent: Bradley. Peach
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Apri I 28. 1988: Correct as written.
MOT! or, by Bose I I . Seconded by Veiman, to approve the Minutes.
Motion carried on a 3-Yes. i-Present (Sabel), 3-Absent (Bradley.
Knight. Peach) vote.
- NEW BUSINESS
The general consensus of the Co~missioners was there are no real
issues in the City at this time. CommIssioner Bosel 1 stated there has
been no major recurrIng complaInts by residents eIther at City Hall or
through the Zoning Department. She felt the City CouncIl goes out of
its way to meet the needs of the residents through the Resident Forum
at meetings or through City Staff.
There was a brief discussion on the foreclosure on what is known as
Tonson's Tire for $91.000 and about Rosella Sonsteby's reference at
several Counc I I meetings to the assessment policy. Chairman
Windschi tI explaIned the Attorney was asked to write Ms. Sonsteby a
letter regarding the legal proceedings for assessments.
Because there didn't appear to be a need to take any further action
regarding a City Charter at this time. it was agreed to assess the
sl tuat ion again in six months.
Chairman Windschitl asked for a motIon to schedule the next meeting
for the last Thursday in May, 1989.
MOTION by Bosell, Seconded by Knight, to so move. Motion carried.
Meeting adjourned at 7:37 p.m.
