MINUTES
A Speci 1 ¡1eeting of the Andover City Council was called to
order by Mayor, Richard J. Schneider, on June 5, 1975, 7:35
P.M., a the Andover Community Center - 1685 Crosstown Blvd.
!nV, Ano~a, Minnesota 55303, for the purpose of screening
applica ions for the City Administrator position and other
additio al items.

1 . Screening applications for Administrator position
2. Set date for interviews with applicants

4. Police contract
5. Art Jaworski - Oak Wilt Disease Brochure
HOTION y VanderLaan, seconded by HOlasek, that Art Jaworski
be perm tted to present his item to the council until 8 P.M.
and to iscuss items #1 and #2 on the Agenda. Motion carried
unanimo sly.
#3 - Welfare Help - Mayor Schneider will obtain more
in ormation and present it at a later date.
#4 - Police Contract - Will be studied and discussed at
an ther meeting.
#5 - !æ. Jaworski presented new Oak Wilt Disease Brochure.
MOTION y Windschitl, seconded by Rither, to purchase 400 of
the pam hlets. Motion carried unanimously.
SCREENIl G APPLICATIONS FOR AD!1INISTRATOR POSITION
The Cou cil looked over and discussed 14 applications for the
City Ad 'nistrator position. Four were selected to be interviewed.
MOTION y HOlasek, seconded by VanderLaan, to interview James
W. Forn ll. Hotion carried unanimously.

T. Nerv1g. Motion carried unanimously.
MOTION y \'lindschitl, seconded by Holasek, to interview Robert
J. MCCO~miCk. Vote: yes - VanderLaan, Holasek, \'lindschitl,
Schneid r; present - Hither.
HOTION Jy Holasek, seconded by SChneider, to interview Norman
J. Wern r. Vote: yes - Schneider, \'lindschitl, IIolasek; no-
VanderLan; present - Hither.
It was ecided to set - tentatively - the following interview
dates: June 25, 1975 - Vœ. Fornell - 7 P.M.
. Hr. Nervig - 9 P.H.
June 26, 1975 - Hr. HcCormick - 7 P.!1.
Hr. Werner - 9 P.H.
Council aQvised clerk to send letters to applicants selected,
asking ¡Dr references, if not provided, advising date of inter-
view, e~lOSing map and/or directions for them to reach the
Cornmunit Center. Also to send out letters to the references
P'OVid'dl'Y th, appli'ant, ,ho"n and to tho" appli,ant' that
weren't £elected.
