Pat Lindquist pay increase I .. >' ¡~ " September 25, 1974 Special >Meet1ng t3I"UW Tuwn§hip Minutes of a SPECIAL MEETING of the Grow Township Board of Supervisors held September 5, 197<, at the Grow Community Center. Present were Chairman Schneider, Supervisors Holasek and Christenson, Clerk Jaworski and Deputy Clerk Marilyn Kappelhoff. Chairman Schneider called the meeting to order at 7:50 p.m. The first agenda item was the approval of serveral sets of minutes. After much discussion and review by the Board, Supervisor Holasek made a motion to approve as corrected, the minutes of May 9, June 10, June 11, June 13, June 17, June 20, June 26, Ju ly 9, July.;l.3, July 25, August 7, and August 22, 197<, ; second by Supervisor Christenson" carried. The Board directed the Deputy Clerk to review the tape on the July 11, 1974, page two, second paragraph minutes. ,IgK.dO Supervisor Holasek made 8 motion to approve the expendituxe of .$-% for a drawing and a report from Consulting Engineer Diversified, to be used by the Township Engineer Dewey Kasma; second by Supervisor Christenson; carried. Election judges for the September 10, 1974 election were appointed as fo11ol<s: Renee Kroll, Margaret Wick, Carol Bradley, Callie Heil, Alice Noren, Sharon Rezezutek, Gloria Miles, Lois Benson, Janett Eveland, Mary West, Darlene Weber, Pat Lindquist, Grace Dorsey, Willis Olson and Ellen Seel. Six persons were appointed to count ballots after the election: Willis Olson, Mary West, Darlene Weber, Pat Lindquist, Gloria Miles and Grace Dorsey. The above judges and ballot counters were appointed on a motion by Supervisor Christenson; second by Supervisor Holasek; carried. Supervisor Holasek made a motion to increase Pat Lindquis,t' s salary from $3.L,0 per hour, to $3.75 per hour, rectoactive as of August 21, 1974; second by Supervisor Christenson; carried. The Board reviewed the three Certified Public Accountants names that were recommended by the State of Minnesota, to be qualified to set up a bookkeeping system for the City of Andover. Supervisor Holasek made a motion that the Board interview Mr. George Hansen, Mr. George Anderson and Arnold Gruys on September 12, 1974, at 7 :30 p.m., and interview each for thirty-five minutes; second by Supervisor Christenson; carried. The Deputy Clerk will contact the above mentioned men of the date and time of their interviews. After some discussion on a Horseman's Council for Grow, the Board requested that the Deputy Clerk ask Pat Lindquist if she would supply names of those interested on serving on the Horseman's Council to the Deputy Clerk. - Special Heeting September 5, 1971, Page 2 The Board suggested the follwing subjects to be discussed at the Joint Meeting on September 25, 197[, : l. Shade tree disease 2. Law enforcement (joint protection) The Board requested that the Deputy Clerk check on the Bond of LH & T Investment Company in the amount of $4,400.
