Meeting was alled to order by Chairman Schneider at 7:25 p.m.
The first it on the agenda was to approve the Police Contract :with the Anoka
County Sheriff's Department. After general discussion on the 50,000 miles per
year, the Su erviBora fe.ltthis should be 37,000 miles for the first year, which
would be oÍ1l nine months, Jun,e1974 to March 1975~' Attorney Hawkins suggested
that when we receive our first quarterly report, if we thought the mileage was
too high, to call the Shertff's Department and they would sit on traffic controlled
areas and do less eruising. Supervisor Holasek felt the Crime Prevention Committee
should meet 1th a representative of the, Sheriff's Department tó coordinate things
for the firs patrol. the Board agreed this should ,be done no îater than May 15,
1974. The C erk¡ Art Jaworski will handle' this. Supervisor !lobsek made a motion
to accept th Police Contraet as presented. Second by Supervisor Christenson,

Supervisor C ristenson made the motion to accept the Fire Contract with the
City of Anok and shall be in effect for a period of onéYear from abd after
_ .January 1, 1 74.' Second by Supervisor HOlasek, passed.

which,Stated ,a fifteen year contract at 5.36% interest on.unp!lid balance. The

General discu si~n on items in 'Law Firms bill. Attorney Hawkin, explained that
on traffic ty e tags, the Township is obliged to prosecute and split fines with
County. SUpe visor Holasek reiterates that all'calls the Law Firm receives from
Township citi ens should be screeened and S!lnt to Clerk's office. If the'Députy
Clerk cannot andle ort:tae is 'short, she will notify attorney óf these cases.

The next item on the agenda was the Assessor's position. Chairman Schneider noted
that Ramsey's Assessor is State Certified. Supervisor Holasek suggested, the
Assessor be nd~d. The Board decided to set up a meeting date'of April ~, 1974,
and screen,th resumes of applicants. the applicants will be n~tified of the
interview dat . '
