The Regular monthly meeting of the Grow Township Board of Supervisors
met at Crooked Lake School, August 10,1971. Chairman Louis Appleby
called the meeting to order at 8:07P.M. with Supervisors Schneider
, and Bradley present. Zoning and Planning Commission members present
ì were Stout, Langseth and Holasek. }linutes of the last meeting were
read, and it was questioned how the Watershed District gets the
$10,000.00 they use for their work, and the information will be
presented at the next meeting. A brief financial report was given.
The Town Board has not had a chance to meet with the Zoning and
Planning Commission on the revised Junk Yard Ordinance, so it will
be taken up later.
Supervisor Bradley suggested that there be some kind of communicat-
! ion on every plat acted upon by the Z&P Commission. Supervisor
Bradley made a motion that we have in writing, attached to the plat,
the recommendation of the Z&P Commission. Supervisor Schneider
seconded and it passed.
Next the cleaning of Coon Creek was discussed. Chairman Appleby
said he was satisfied that they were dOing a good job by hand.
Supervisor Bradley said he vlalked the creel{ with John Russell and
Warren Fricke, Coon Rapids Engineer, ~nd figured ~fter 95% of the
completed work that there were some trees that had to come out.
Supêrvisor Bradley made a Dotion tbat ~e send the following
resolution to the Coon Creek Watershed Board and ~arren Fricke,
Coon Rapids Engineer.

responsibilities for amintaining Coon Creek in as

If the full study of the C;.'eel: indicates there should
be a cost sharing by the governmental units to facilitate
the successful maintainance of the Creel: some concertrB,ted
intercommunication should be initiated immediately.
Seconded by Supervisor Schneider, and it passed.
Attorney Dick Beens said he would meet with the Planner and
the Engineer and make up a rough draft of a platting ordinance.
He would need the platted and unplatted acreage and the platted
and unplatted valuation.

Supervisor Bradley made a motion that \'Ie grant 8, cigarette license
to Steven Nemeth of Nemeth Grocery. Supervisor Schneider seconded.
Supervisor SchneidfiJr made a motion that we accept the following

Chairman Appleby said the cost for a sidewalk would be 45¢ a
running foot for asphe.lt, with no grading.
