Re: Development of sewage facilities for the township of Grow.
Dear Mr. Dougherty:
Enclosed please find a copy of a resolution passed by the Township
Board in which we are requesting your aid in both the planning of
and the financial assistance of the development of sewage facilities
for our Towaship. We have a definite health hazard which is develop-
ing in the Crooked Lake area due to drainfield seepage into said
lake. Our engineers have submitted a preliminary report to you
relative to the possibility of extending a sanitary trunk line from
the Coon Rapids system to the above mentioned area.
We would like to explore with you the possibilities of making this
extent ion a reality and will provide you with any additional infor-
mation or services which you may require including the availability
of our engineering consultants, Tri-State Engineering, Inc.
We are also interested in exploring the possibility of sewering the
western portion of our Township through the Anoka system and are
interested in discussing with you the problems and potentials which
could be generated in that area.
We shall be meeting with the city of Coon Rapids in the very near
future to enlist their aid and assistance relative to the extension
of their trunk line.
We thank you for the consideration and interest which you have shown
our area and look forward to working with you in the near future.
Yours very truly,
Louis Appleby
