Minnesota 55303 Grow Township Board of Supervisors met at Crooked Lake School, August 11, 1970, with Su¡:er- visors Winner, Appleby, and Schneider; Plànning and Zoning Commission members Stout, Langseth, Jones, Rither, Christianson; Attorney Beens; and others present. A petition was submitted asking for action to prevent this in the future. Supv. Winner moved the building inspector be authroized to investigate by 'checking with other municipalities and any experts possible. It was seconded and passed. Regarding the Menkfelt petition to allow factory built homes on his property, the Planning and Zoning Commission recommended denial because the homes did not meet the building code. The beard voted to go by the recommendation of the commission. The new zoning ordinance was discussed. It was pointed out by the board that it needed some changes and was returned to the Planning and Zoning Commission for review. The ordinance hearing was reconveneed. Lyle Peterson raised several questions concerning the ordinance which were discussed and referred to the Planning and Zoning Commission for decision and necessary action. David Ball asked if ordinance affected existing conditions. He was referred to page 20, sec ion 4.03 of the new proposed ordinance. \ 'J Supv. Schneider moved that Robert Palmer be granted special permit to live in house trailer on ., " 15943 Nightingale St. It was seconded and passed. . Meadow Creek Baptist Church requested permission to move in mobile home to use for Sunday School classes. Winner moved that they be granted the permit for not more than one year, under privision it will not be used for living purposes. It was seconded and passed. On trailer court ooldinance, the Planning a~d Zoning Commission had voted in favor of accspting the ordinance as written. Supv. Winner moved the ordinance be accepted with the change putting the fènce between the pork and buffer area. Seconded and passed. Planning and Zoning Commission recommended Carlyle receive permit to put in mobile home park. Supv. Winner moved that Carlyle be granted provisional pproval based upon acce ptance of conditions set forth in the contract to be written up. Seconded and passed. Junk yard license renewal applications were called for. A petition was presented requesting something be done about the cannon being fired on the turkey farm of Earnest Peterson. Supv. Winner moved the attorney write on behalf of the town board and ask Mr. Peterson to stop using the automatic alarm system at night. Seconded and passed. Anna Rogers requested results of petition requesting two neighbors to clean out junk cars, etc. Board said they had told them to clean up and would go out again Saturday Aug. 15, and if they have not complied within two weeks, action will be taken. - - ,I- '- .." \ ! , Page Two Mike Kelner requested information and assistance in disposing of drainage ditch across front of property. Claims it is dry all the time and would like to fill it in. Board w ill go out and look at it Saturday but Kelner requested to find out ownership of ditch first. Mr. Jim Emerson requested township to pay for planting trees a long road. Res idents pa id for grading this road themselves and felt the twonship should ,pick up cost of that or planting trees. Was informed deve loper is responsible for building roads and that this road has not been turned over 10 township yet. Mrs. Kelner requested ~peed limiton Constance Blvd. The board will furnish signs warning of children playing and the attorney will send a request to highway deportment responsible for thbt road as it is not a township road.
