HomeMy WebLinkAboutJuly 5, 1984 ~ ~ ANDOVER PARK AND RECREATION COMMISSION MEETING July 5, 1984 The meeting of the Andover Park and Recreation Commission was called to order by Chairman Nichols at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, July 5, 1984 at the Andover City Hall, 1685 Crosstown Blvd. N.W. MEMBERS PRESENT: MEMBERS ABSENT: ALSO PRESENT: Nichols, Syzplinski, LeFebvre, Prochniak Carlson, Kinkade Don Hanson, North Glen Addition NORTH GLEN ROSE PARK Don Hanson, a resident from North Glen Addition, presented his concern to the Commission regarding the work that is left to be done in Rose Park. He stated that there is some playground equipment up and picnic tables but was wondering when there would be a ballfield and pat'king lot. The Commission stated that they check into having the park graded and leveled and then have it seeded in the fall. The Commission stated that they would attempt to get the monies for this project appropriated into the budget for Rose Park and then proceed with the work that needs to be done. NORTH GLEN II PARK DISCUSSION There was concern that the developer has not finished the work for developing this park as proposed. The Commission will look into this matter and then discuss it at a later date. FEES FOR TOURNAMENTS This item was tabled. APPROVAL OF MINUTES MOTION by Prochniak, seconded by Nichols to approve minutes of June 2, 1984 as written. MOTION by Syzplinski, seconded by LeFebvre to approve minutes of June 21, 1984 as written. Meeting'adjourned at 8:50 p.m.
