Hawkins WGH/jj enclosureS 0 ---- / I" I \ \ , \'-) I.,-.J ) RESOLUTION í'n-IEREAS, the Cities of Ham Lake and East Bethel, and Townships of Burns, Grow, Oak Grove, and Ramsey have adopted subdivision ordinances to provide for orderly, economic and safe development of land and urban services and facilities, and to promote the public health, safety, morals and general welfare, of their community, and íVHEREAS, each of these municipalities has filed copies of their subdivision regulations with the Anoka County Register of Deeds as provided in Minnesota Statutes §462.351 to §462.364, and WHEREAS, each of the above communities has placed restrictions 10 on conveyance of property by metes and bounds or by reference to an unapproved registered land survey made after April 22, 1961, pursuant to authority granted under the municipal planning act, Chapter 462.358, ) Subdivision 4, and WHEREAS, each of the above communities was represented at a joint meeting held July 31, 1974, at which time each municipality expressed its concern over the growing problem of the division and recording of property in violation of state and municipal law, and -¡-JHEREAS, it is the opinion of each cormnuni ty that the ) County of Anoka lS in the best position to enforce the restrictions on subdivision contained in the municipal platting ordinances and state law; - NOH, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Cities of Ham Lake and East Bethel, and Townships of Burns, Oak Grove, Grow and Ramsey request that the County of Anoka establish procedures immediately to '\ insure that no conveyance of land shall be filed or recorded with the ) Registrar of Titles or Register of Deeds which is in violation of municipal and state subdivision laws. Adopted at July 23, r974 Board Meeting ~) RES 0 L UTI 0 N ~"HEREAS , the Anoka County Highway Department proposes to reconstruct and improve a portion of County Road No. 109, known as Nightengale Boulevard and County Project No. 74-05-109, located between County State Aid Highway No. 18 and County State Aid Highway No. 20 (Engineers Station 112 + 00 and Engineers Station 178 + 88.33, and WHEREAS, the improvement consists of widening and reconstructing said roadway as herein determined necessary to provide for the safety of the traveling public, and WHEREAS, in addition to the existing highway easement, certain lands are required to provide for said reconstruction together with temporary highway easements which expire on or before December 1, 1975, and WHEREAS, the Anoka County Highway Department has platted the necessary lands to be acquired and which are more particularly described as follows: (See attached) NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the County Board of Commissioners ,) hereby authorize the County Engineer to proceed to acquire the fee simple and necessary temporary easements over said lands in accordance with Minnesota Statutes. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that those parcels of land as above described, which cannot be acquired by direct negotiation, shall be acquired by eminent domain and the County hereby requests the County Attorney to file the necessary petition therefore and to prosecute such action to a successful conclusion or until it is abandoned, dismissed or terminated by the County or Court. '\ \--.J . / \ "~ (J C) f7r()w T()wn§hip " "~ RESOLUTION CONCERNING THE DISPOSITION OF GROW TOWNSHIP PROPERTY WHEREAS, the Township of Grow does own different kinds of property and other items, and WHEREAS, from time to time some of this property and other items may be deemed surplus or obsolete, and WHEREAS, it may be in the best interest of the Township to dispose of such property and other items, and WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of Grow Township recognizes that they have the sole responsibility for all the property and other items owned by the Township; NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that no property or other items owned by Grow Township be disposed of by any person or persons, unless authorized to do :, ) so by a majority vote of the Grow Township Board of Supervisors.
