Boreal Futball — Pine Hills North Building Discussion DATE: June 16, 2022 INTRODUCTION The Boreal Futball Club has expressed interest in participating in the construction of a multipurpose building at Pine Hills North Park. DISCUSSION Boreal Futball Club (BFC) has expressed interest in building a storage building as indicated in the Master Plan for the Park. They have asked if there is a possibility of combining the two buildings indicated in the Master Plan into one joint building. The current plan shows a 40' x 30' storage building and a separate 50' x 40' multipurpose building with concessions, restrooms, storage, and integrated group picnic shelter. In discussions with representatives from BFC, they have expressed there is no interest in having a concession stand at this location. They also stated that their size requirements for a storage facility is smaller than the 40' x 30' shown on the plan. The discussion was if the two building could be re-evaluated and built as a single structure to meet all needs, minus the concession stand. They have $25,000 committed to put towards the storage building. A representative from BFC has been invited to attend the meeting to make a short presentation on the proposed building at Pine Hills North and to answer any questions the Commission may have.
