Adjournment n LTJ H H SPECL4L ANDOVER CITY COUNCIL MEETING —NOVEMBER 13, 2018 MINUTES The Special Meeting of the Andover City Council was called to order by Mayor Julie Trude, November 13, 2018, 4:01 p.m., at the Andover City Hall, 1685 Crosstown Boulevard NW, Andover, Minnesota. Councilmembers Present: Jim Goodrich, Valerie Holthus and Michael Knight Councilmembers Absent: Sheri Bukkila Also Present: City Administrator, Jim Dickinson CANVAS RESULTS FROM GENERAL ELECTION OF NOVEMBER 6, 2018 Mr. Dickinson indicated Council is requested to approve the resolution certifying those that were elected for Andover Offices: Mayor — Julie Trude (two-year term) Councilmembers — Jamie Barthel and Valerie Holthus (four-year term) Motion by Holthus, Seconded by Goodrich adopting resolution R087-18 canvassing the results of the General Election of November 6, 2018. Motion carried 4 ayes and 1 absent (Bukkila). OTHER BUSINESS Mr. Dickinson stated per direction from the City Council to provide meeting dates for public informational meetings regarding the Community Center expansion, the following have been scheduled: December 12, 2018 at the Community Center Field House December 17, 2018 at City Hall. The agenda for both meetings will be as follows: 30 p.m. open house 00 p.m. presentation 6:30 p.m. questions and answers The open house will then resume until 7:30 p.m. © Andover City Council Special Meeting Minutes —November 13, 2018 Page 2 Mr. Dickinson continued the architect and construction manager for the project will be on hand to answer questions. Councilmember Knight asked how the public will be informed of the meetings. Mr. Dickinson replied a postcard mailing to each Andover household, social media and published in the local paper. The City Council concurred. ADJOURNMENT Motion by Holthus, Seconded by Goodrich, to adjourn. Motion carried 4 ayes and 1 absent (Bukkila).
