BUNKER MEDL4N UPDATE
President Trude stated Mr. Kytonen and Commissioner Twistol are the sub -committee for this
project. Mr. Kytonen did some research and is proposing a plan for the plantings in the Bunker
Lake Boulevard medians.
Mr. Kytonen indicated the goal is getting the medians to look good. Prairie Restorations was used
in the previous years with mixed results.
Mr. Kytonen continued stating the grass component in the medias is really good, they are just
missing color. In the past smaller plugs were planted that did not survive. The proposed plan is
to plant some ornamental plants. He consulted with Mickman Brothers. A quote from Mickman
Brothers was received. Mr. Kytonen reviewed the pictures of the suggested plants that could be
used.
Commissioner Goodrich asked if they are plants that do well along a "roadside". Mr. Kytonen
