Program Update Commission reviewed handout of current Andover Community Center program numbers. The skate and soccer programs are at capacity giving space availability. The Andover Parks Department has expressed an interest in offering park programs and would like to schedule a future joint commission meeting between the Andover YMCA Community Center Commission and the City of Andover Park Commission. When asked about adding multiple outdoor pickleball courts, Ted indicated that the park commission would like to add multiple courts by pouring concreate into existing outdoor hockey arenas, but unfortunately the funds are not available at this time. Looking at our current customers and needs, the commission asked Erick to look at potential ice usage hours/customers if a multi-purpose sports arena was added to the facility. How much are we short? What are the numbers looking like, right out of the gate? Frank and Tony Howard wanted clarification as to future gym expansion and what is being proposed is that the YMCA would add on their own court and the community center would not currently ad onto their existing field house. Frank asked if that were the case, how would that affect the community center's revenue? Erick and Allison will meet to discuss how that Qwould all play out.
