We have come to find out that everyone in our neighborhood has moved into the area for the same reason. Our neighborhood is filled with new families who are looking for the same amenities. After further research, I am amazed at how many young families with children are moving into the city of Andover. I want to join this advisory commission for two reasons. First, to ensure the City of Andover is continuing to provide the local amenities and benefits that have attracted young families like mine. I want to be part of the process to ensure we continue to expand the types of businesses that young families are looking for and are happy they have moved/stayed in this city. My second reason is to continue to expand great neighbors that continue to attract young families. These neighborhoods promote the American Dream that many of us had growing up in. Our children need these types of neighbors to learn how to socialize with others and learn what being part of a community means. Overall, I want to be part of continuing to make Andover a city with a community feel, a place that people prosper and have access to the benefits they deserve. I want Andover to have the reputation in the Twin Cities as a place families try to move into.
