Attached is the October 1, 2016 enrollment counts report. The report includes: • Fall Enrollment Summary (Pages 1 and 1a) • Elementary Counts & Trends (Pages 2 to 2b) • Secondary Counts & Trends (Pages 3 and 3a) • Ethnicity by School & Trends (Pages 4 and 4a) • ESL by School by Service Level (Page 6) • F/R (Free & Reduced) Counts & Trends (Pages 6 and 6a) Total Enrollment The total K-12 enrollment summary (page 1) shows an overall increase of 644 students from 2015 to 2016. The October 1 count shows 479 more students than originally projected. Compared to projected Elementary o Kindergarten enrollment has 85 less students than projected. o Grades 1-5 are up 235 students from projected. o K-5 counts were 150 students more than projected Middle School o The middle schools showed an increase from projection, up 126 students. High School o There are 203 more students than projected at the high schools. Compared to last year's Oct 1 Elementary o Kindergarten counts increased by 70 students from the previous year. o Grades 1-5 count increased by 162 students from the previous year. o The K-5 elementary count increase by 232 students from the previous year. Middle School o The middle school count increased by 223 students from the previous year. High School o The high school student count increased by 189 students from the previous year. The secondary counts include those students participating in the S.T.E.P. program.
