Our mission is to foster the development, education and participation of female athletes, ages 18 and under in the sport of volleyball. Minnesota Premier will provide a supportive environment for coaches to teach players volleyball skills and to instill the concept of team play under competitive conditions. MN Premier is run by a board — director, president, vice president, secretary and treasurer. A large portion of our athletes live in Andover, but all athletes are welcome to play for the club. The volleyball season starts the week on November 28 and most teams end in late April, with some playing until mid - May. Our teams practice twice per week and have competitive events approximately every other weekend throughout the winter. More than 90% of our practices are held at the Andover Community Center. We do rent a small amount of time from the Anoka Hennepin School District. All open gym and tryouts are held at ACC. Summer rental takes place for camps in June, July and August. We started renting from the Andover Community Center just after it opened totals are: Forecasting a large increase this year due to the loss of MN Vantage and our increased tournament hosting on the weekends.
