Haas The Park and Recreation Commission is requested to approve the following: Regular Meeting, October 3, 1991 (Absent - Lindahl & Auger) Regular Meeting, October 17, 1991 (Absent - Kieffer, DeLarco, Lindahl, Woods) Special Meeting, October 30, 1991 - (Absent - DeLarco, Lindahl, Woods, Paulson) It is recommended to make seperate motions of each meeting when approving the minutes with Commissioners voting present for dates they were not in attendance. ,J ANDOVER PARK COMMISSION REQUEST FOR PARK RECOMMENDATION DATE November 7. 1991 ITEM ORIGINATING DEPARTMENT 4. The Meadows of Round Lake Park Dedication Engineering ~ BY: Todd J. Haas The Park and Recreation Commission is requested to discuss the Park Dedication requirements for the Meadows of Round Lake. David Newman fron Nedegaard Construction will be at the meeting to discuss this item with the Commission. ,J At the Special Meeting of October 30, 1991, the Commissioners felt they would like to reconsider their earlier evaluations that were made at the meeting of October 17, 1991. At this meeting of October 17 the Commissioners felt they should improve and maintain the existing park, not develop the tot lot and were generally in favor of linking a trail system with Kelsey-Round Lake Park. At the October 30 meeting, the Commissioners want to examine possible tot lot park areas, forget about the swampy area between Round Lake and the proposed residential area and re-examine the existing park. My name is Nancy Knop and I am the new Community School Coordinator for Andover. For the past 6 years I have worked as a Community School Coordinator at Sand Creek and Mississippi Schools in the City of Coon Rapids. Prior to that time, I was a Camp Administrator for a Girl Scout Resident Camp near La Crosse, WI. I live in Coon Rapids with my husband, Steve, and 2 children- Michael, age 7 and Christine, age 2. I have been at Andover School since October 1 and already enjoy working in this community! Community usage of the 2 school facilities is at a peak and community school enrollments are strong as well.
